 Description of the design:
 The central part of the coin features the commemorative logo, in the stylised letters “EU” and “trio.be”. Above the design is the inscription “BELGIAN PRESIDENCY OF THE COUNCIL OF THE EU 2010” and at the bottom the trilingual inscription “BELGIE BELGIQUE BELGIEN”. Below the logo, to the left and right of the year 2010 respectively, are the mint mark and the mint master mark. The border around the central part of the coin features the twelve stars of the European flag.
