Subject of the commemorative coin:
 60th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Central Bank of Cyprus

 Description:
 The coin features wrenches on a microchip, symbolising economic stability in the modern industrial and digital age, guaranteed by the Central Bank of Cyprus, which has been in existence for 60 years. At the bottom, the name of the issuing country “ΚYΠΡΟΣ KIBRIS” (“Cyprus”) and the years “1963-2023” are inscribed. In addition, the phrase “60 ΧΡOΝΙΑ ΑΠO ΤΗΝ IΔΡΥΣΗ ΤΗΣ ΚΕΝΤΡΙKHΣ ΤΡAΠΕΖΑΣ ΤΗΣ ΚYΠΡΟΥ” (i.e. “The Central Bank of Cyprus was established 60 years ago”) is inscribed on the inner ring of the national side of the coin. The outer ring of the coin depicts the twelve stars of the European flag.
