 The coin depicts a view of the Kronentor from the inner courtyard of Dresden’s world-famous Zwinger Palace. Furthermore, the name “SACHSEN” and the country code of the issuing country, “D”, are inscribed at the bottom of the inner part, while the mint mark of the respective mint (“A”, “D”, “F”, “G” or “J”) and the engraver’s mark (the initials “JT” — Jordi Truxa) are inscribed at the top right and the year “2016” at the top left. The coin’s outer ring depicts the 12 stars of the European flag.
