 Description of the design:
 The coin depicts the undulating trunk of an oak tree, with the branches on the left and the leaves on the right. The branches represent the times of revolution and hardship that paved the way to Estonia's independence. The leaves symbolize Estonia's strength, achievements and longevity. At the bottom left of the trunk is the word "MAAPAÄEV" (Provisional National Assembly of Estonia) and above that the year "1917". At the bottom right is the name of the issuing country "EESTI" and below that the year of issuance "2017". The coin's outer ring features the 12 stars of the European Union.
