Subject of the commemorative coin:
 100th birthday of L'Abbé Pierre

 Description of the design:
 The coin shows a portrait of Abbé Pierre, wearing his beret, and the logo of his foundation with the microtext “Et les autres?”, the foundation’s favourite motto to remind us that we should never forget to help others. On the left are the letters “RF”, which stands for “République française”, together with the horn of plenty, the mint mark of the Monnaie de Paris. On the right is the “fleurette”, the mark of the engraving workshop. The coin’s outer ring features the twelve stars of the flag of the European Union.
