Subject of the commemorative coin:
 30 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall

 Description of the design:
 The design shows the Berlin Wall, open in the middle, with doves (the allegory of international reconciliation) and an exuberant crowd passing through it. In the background is the Brandenburg Gate, the symbol of Berlin par excellence. On one side of the wall is written “30 ans de la chute du Mur de Berlin/30 Jahre Mauerfall”. At the bottom of the design is the year of issuance “2019” and to the right of it the indication of the issuing country “RF” (standing for République française). The coin’s outer ring depicts the 12 stars of the European flag.
