 Description:
 The design features the Arkadi Monastery. In the centre are the words “ARKADI MONASTERY” (in Greek) and along the inner edge on the left “HELLENIC REPUBLIC”. At the top right is the year of issuance “2016” and below the central inscription is a palmette (the mint mark of the Greek Mint). At the bottom right is the monogram of the artist (George Stamatopoulos). The coin’s outer ring features the 12 stars of the European flag.
