 The head of Donatello’s David (detail of the bronze statue in the National Museum of Bargello in Florence): on the left, the logo of the Italian Republic “RI”; below, one below the other, the dates “1466” and “2016”; on the right, “CM”, the initials of the designer, Claudia Momoni; at the bottom, the inscription “DONATELLO”. The coin’s outer ring depicts the 12 stars of the European flag.
