 Description of the design:
 The design shows the genius, a national figure and an icon of French numismatics. The winged figure is depicted as an athlete practicing the discus throw in a “classical” manner, in reference to the Olympic Games of classical antiquity. His silhouette merges with the Arc de Triomphe, an essential element of Parisian heritage. It forms a common axis with this monument symbolizing victory. In the background, an athletics track is depicted with the emblem of Paris 2024 on the right. The year of issue, the word “RF” and the mint marks are placed below the arc and at the foot of the arc. The outer ring of the coin features the twelve stars of the European flag.
