Subject of the commemorative coin:
 50th birthday and 5th year of the throne of Grand Duke Hendrik and 100th year of the death of Grand Duke Adolf
 (second in the 'Luxembourg Dynasty' series)

 Description of the design:
 The centre of the coin depicts the effigy of Grand Duke Henri, looking to the right, superimposed on the effigy of Grand Duke Adolphus. Above the effigies is the legend 'GRANDS-DUCS DE LUXEMBOURG'. Below their respective effigies is 'HENRI', above '* 1955', and 'ADOLPHE', above '† 1905”. Around the edge are the twelve stars of the EU surrounding the design between the letters of the word 'LËTZEBUERG' and the year of issue, 2005, with the year centred below the effigies and flanked by the letter 'S' on the left and the Mint logo on the right.
