Subject of the commemorative coin:
 100 years of universal suffrage

 Description of the design:
 The effigy depicts on the left the effigy of His Royal Highness, Grand Duke Henri, and on the right a ballot box with a hand inserting a ballot paper. At the bottom is the name of the issuing country “LUXEMBOURG”. At the top, in semi-circle, is the inscription “Centenaire du suffrage universel” (Centhenary of universal suffrage) and below that the inscription “1919-2019” (2019 being the year of issue). The coin’s outer ring depicts the twelve stars of the European flag.
