The inscription “NICOLAUS COPERNICUS 1473 – 1543” is at the top left and the name of the issuing country “MALTA” at the bottom left, followed by the year of issuance “2023”. The signature of artist Daniela Fusco “FUSCO” is also at the bottom. The outer ring of the coin features the twelve stars of the European flag.
