 The design shows the effigy of Emperor Charles V. At the top, the name of the issuing country “MONACO” is inscribed in a semi-circle. At the bottom, the inscription “1524 – TRAITÉ AVEC CHARLES QUINT (Treaty with Emperor Charles V) – 2024”. The outer ring of the coin features the twelve stars of the European flag.
