 Description of the design:
 The design shows the Brandenburg Gate, which was located in East Berlin during the Cold War, represented by two scenes intertwined like two hands, symbolising the reunification of the two parts of Berlin. On the right is the mint mark ‘R’ and on the left the initials of the artist ‘ES’ (Erik Spiekermann). Inscribed in a circle around the image are ‘25o ANNIVERSARIO DELLA RIUNIFICAZIONE DELLA GERMANIA 1990-2015’ (25th anniversary of German reunification) and the country and year of issuance ‘San Marino MMXV’. The coin’s outer ring bears the 12 stars of the European Union.
